Dulcimer
Day in Duluth folk music festival

A
day of traditional music. 9th year. Held at the Coppertop Church,
230 E. Skyline Parkway. Concerts at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Instrument and
local craft vendors 10 to 4 p.m. 4 musical guests coming in from
Arkansas,
Michigan, southern WI, and the Twin Cities. Twenty classes are
available all on that day on mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer,autoharp,
clawhammer banjo, singalong and even to make a whistle and a Q&A with
an instrument luthier.
Community
Action Duluth will be selling lunch from Noon to 1 p.m. as a fundraiser
for their Circles of Support.
Come
shop at 11, then have lunch, then attend the concerts. Check

the fair will go to the Rainbow Center in downtown Duluth which does some
community art programs and provides valuable services to local seniors and
low-income individuals. There are artist openings for this fair.
